JOHN ANTHONY MURPHY

One of Limerick's most experienced actors John has a theatre career of over 30 years, and appeared in Gangs of New York and Angela's Ashes.

 

John has performed in and directed many productions including Borrowed Robes, Julius Caesar, Pigtown, Hamlet, Juno & the Paycock, Moment, What Happened Bridgie Cleary, Lovers, The Year of the Hiker and The Veil.

Rehearsed readings include Macbeth, Democracy, Journey's End and The Book of Joe by Myles Breen.

He performed a role in Loss - a short film done by local youth support groups and will be seen in Ciaran Creagh's first feature In View.
